Found Objects

Since its origins, the drawing shed has formally introduced into its workshops the use of domestic and found objects discarded on the estates. We set these objects and furniture up in temporary tableaux absorbing them into the printmaking process, with the hope that residents across both estates will make prints about these and their own domestic and found objects, both for the external signage and to take back into their own homes. Examples of objects are below.

Residents have been spontaneously collecting objects lying around their environment and putting them together in interesting ways in temporary installations:
